The Beast runs a bit narrow. I had to send the shoes back. However, the shoes seemed to be sturdy and well made.

Customer Review: Best shoe out there for pronators
I went to a running store a few years ago to get fitted for a shoe. Not only did I find out that I was wearing the wrong size for most of my life, I found a shoe that catered to my wide foot and gave me arch support. The Brooks Beast is the only running shoe I will buy. They have done a good job over the years making them lighter, but the comfort level and feel when running is awesome.

I've had 6 pairs of these shoes - can't commend them enough. Great support and wear. Use them only for 'everyday' use no running but on the concrete alot and don't have sore feet at the end of the day.
